I do not have a set number of photos that I send to each wedding as every wedding day is different and the coverage varies. What I do promise is that you will get the best of the best images from your day and your story will be illustrated in these photographs from beginning of coverage to the end. However, a typical 8 hour wedding can expect about 800 photos back (or more!)
How many photos can we expect to receive in our gallery?
Absolutely! I am so grateful to have a job that lets me see the world! Traveling 60 miles from zip code 01862 is complimentary within any chosen wedding collection. Traveling between 61-75 miles, there is a travel fee of 66 cents per added mile. With any wedding beyond 76 miles, I do require a one or two night stay either in one of your hotel blocks or in a separate hotel/airbnb, and that additional cost would be added into your wedding package.
Note: This does not apply to weddings outside of the USA. Travel for that is customized per wedding.
Do you travel?
You sure can! While your online gallery provides a storefront for you and your family/friends to shop after your big day, I will also send out an email with a KLP Wedding Gift Shop Guide for you and your new SPOUSE to review together after you see your full gallery about 4-6 weeks after your wedding day! Ordering directly through me will allow for a more personal and custom experience, but you are totally welcome to order however you would like. (Note: Albums and Metals need to be a custom order through me and not on your gallery’s storefront).
Decorating your house with wedding wall decor is the most beautiful way to start your life together. Ask about what I offer!
Can we purchase prints or products after the wedding?
Within 4-6 weeks from your wedding date! Sometimes sooner, sometimes right at that 6th week mark, it all depends on how my schedule looks during that time frame. However, you will receive 20-25 SNEAK PEEKS exactly one week after your wedding to get you excited for the full gallery that is on its way!!
How long until we receive our images?
First of all, I LOVE answering this question! It is often an overlooked question but one I feel is SO IMPORTANT when choosing your wedding photographer. I bring two mirrorless cameras to EVERY wedding I shoot. I will never shoot a wedding without a backup camera; just the thought of not bringing two freaks me out!
The second I get home from a wedding, even if it's midnight, I will back up your entire gallery to my storage drives (yes, I have more than one) and also into an online backup system. Your photos are protected a bunch of times over so there is never a fear of losing anything from your special day!
What is your back-up system like?
Yes, I do! Payment Plans are ALWAYS an option, and truthfully, the most common route for most of my couples! You can choose to pay in 3 or 4 installments leading up to your wedding day, however 1/3rd of your collection balance is due when booking.
BUT! If you do choose to pay for your wedding collection in full at the time of booking, I offer a discount where you will receive $200 off of your collection!
Do you offer payment plans?
Your photos will be delivered in a private online gallery where you can easily view, download, and share them with family and friends. The link will also be shareable! Through your gallery, you also have the option to order prints and products right from your gallery’s storefront. It’s super easy to use and designed to make the whole experience a breeze!
How do we receive our gallery and save our photos forever?
About two weeks after you receive your wedding gallery, you will receive an email from me with the first draft of your album. I will create the first draft and then you and your new SPOUSE will go in and rearrange it, add photos, take out photos, and completely make it your own. You will receive up to 3 chances to change it before it is sent to print and all albums must be approved by you within 90 days of receiving the first draft. Albums take about 4-6 weeks to produce and ship, depending on the time of year.
Wedding Albums are a part of Collections One and Two, or can be purchased individually before or after the wedding.

When it comes to choosing a local session, my most popular locations are the Acton Arboretum in Acton, MA, Veteran’s Park in Bedford, MA and Job Lane Museum in Bedford, MA. I am also open to other ideas if you have a special request!
The Acton Arboretum in Acton, MA is a gorgeous scenic location for the seniors that want a nature setting, but with more variety than just simple greenery. This arboretum is filled with colorful florals, beautiful bridges and arbors, some benches, and more.
Veterans Park is a stunning park in Bedford MA and attracts seniors that are more interested in a more simple backdrop for their session. This park has a ton of greenery as the grass is consistently watered all year round, some benches, and a calm bike path. This spot tends to be a popular choice for the boys, but it is a common spot for all seniors as it is a timeless location!
Job Lane Museum in Bedford, MA is a beautiful location with a more rustic look to it. At its center is a beautiful wooden house that appears almost barn-like but has a true historic background. It is a stunning spot especially in the Fall as the foliage here is unmatched.

For my seniors that prefer a beach setting for their session, these sessions are held at Wingaersheek Beach in Gloucester, MA.
Wingaersheek Beach is a gorgeous beach with a beautiful horizon, soft sand and peaceful waves, lots of beautiful seagrass at its border, and a large jetty of sea rocks that seniors love to pose on. Beach sessions are more luxurious and offer more variety for seniors, and the session tends to be longer. Many of my seniors that choose the beach for their session value the epic sunsets and blue hour moments we get at almost every session. It is such a beautiful sight and makes for absolutely stunning portraits!

During your Ordering Session with me which will take place at my Studio in Billerica, MA - we will review your entire senior portrait gallery together and I will help you narrow down your choices to fit into the best collection for you.
A la Carte options are available as well as adding images to your collection. We will review all of this together during our meeting!

I would suggest looking through examples of each location I typical go to (Wingaersheek Beach (Gloucester, MA), Acton Arboretum (Acton, MA), Veterans Park (Bedford, MA), and Job Lane Museum (Bedford, MA) and see what type of scenery attracts you the most. I also recommend utilizing Pinterest and seeing what type of photos inspire you based on the backgrounds and seasons they were taken in!

How do I know what location to choose for my Senior Session?
For all Senior Portrait Sessions, I allow up to three outfit changes, so be sure to take advantage of that and change it up for the photos! Mixing in both dressy and casual options and changing up the colors will allow for more variety in your gallery. I would also suggest avoiding neon colors and large graphics/logos as they don't photograph well and if we're taking your photos in a field with a lot of grass, avoid green!
Consider your location when choosing your three outfits, and feel free to send me photos of outfit ideas if you would like some input! I will gladly help you out :)
What should I wear to my Senior Session?
I sure do! Session fees are typically due in full within 5 business days of receiving your invoice, however splitting that session fee into multiple payments is available upon request. All I ask is that your session fee is paid in full no later than one week prior to your session.
For Collections, plans are also available and can be customized however you would like, just note that your selected images for your order will not be edited and delivered until full payment is made.
Do you offer payment plans?
I hold onto all of my Senior Galleries until your graduation month (which tends to be either May or June of the following year) GUARANTEED. Beyond that, while I most likely will still have your images saved, no guarantees can be made. Although I am sure to back all of my images up on multiple external storage drives and online backup sites, Kristen Laquidara Photography is not liable for the restoration of past photographs.
You can come back and place an additional order anytime so long as I still have your gallery.
How long do you keep images for and can I come back on a later date and order more from my session?
We will simply reschedule! Your session is a once in a lifetime opportunity to capture this incredible achievement, and while we cannot control the weather, we will simply choose a new date where the weather will be at its best for your session! No worries there!
What happens if there is bad weather on the day of my session?
Unfortunately, no refunds are issued for Senior Session fees as it takes away from an available date that could have been offered to another Senior. You may, however, choose to reschedule your session, but please try to let me know at least 48 hours in advance.
I have to cancel my Senior Session, do I get a refund?
I get it, I used to be the same way! But the good news is I am a MAJOR perfectionist which means I am the same way with my photography. My job is to make you feel as comfortable and confident as I possibly can. I will even show you some of the images throughout the session (leaving some a surprise, of course!) Your job is simple. Just make sure you like what your hair and smile looks like in the images and leave the rest to me!
I want you to feel the most like YOU in these photos as they will last a lifetime. Don't worry if a pose feels a little awkward, sometimes those turn out to be your favorites on the other side of the camera! Basically, what I am saying is, leave the creativity to me and just go with the flow! You will enjoy yourself more that way!
